Is FPV For Beginners?
The beautiful thing about flying drones is it doesn’t really matter what drone you start with. Some drones are easier to fly than others, but learning to fly on a racing drone is a fun place to start.
Keep in mind, though, you are learning, which means you are likely to crash your drone more than once in the beginning. Rather than paying for expensive repairs on an expensive racing drone, start out with a trainer drone until you get the hang of flying.
Trainer drones are usually equipped with bumpers but lack FPV capabilities. These drones are made to take a beating. The bumpers surround the blades to keep the blades safe in the event of a crash or collision, and the lack of FPV makes this type of drone cheap yet durable.
However, as mentioned above, many of the racing drones on the list are made with durable carbon fiber material. That means, ideally, you should be able to learn with any one of these FPV racing drones without doing a lot of expensive damage.
